Accidental Death of an Anarchist

Accidental Death of an Anarchist

Dario Fo’s Accidental Death of an Anarchist is a classic of Twentieth-century drama. Combing elements of Commedia dell’Arte with contentious political comedy, Fo creates a rambunctious, absurdist satire that is at once both farce and deeply serious. Examining the political hysteria and police corruption of 70s Italy the play has been endlessly popular, enjoying many successful revivals.

Performed here by lower 6th A level Theatre Studies pupils and directed by Matt Burlington it promises to be excellent evening of physical comedy, madness and mayhem.
