 Hands-On Science

An afternoon of Hands-On Science in the laboratories at SciTec.( Please note that this event is in the Sci Tec Building and NOT the Stahl)

Parents and children work together on different scientific activities, providing families with the opportunity to have fun with science together and facilitate scientific discussions at home.

Suitable for children aged 6 – 12 (as a guide)

For supervision purposes it is 1 adult to 3 children

Please note: This event is held in the SciTec Building.

After World War II, St. Swithins, an all-girls school, must relocate after their original building is destroyed. Due to an administrative error, the female students and staff are relocated to Hillary Hall an all boys school.

Staff from both schools must then try to keep this truth from the parents. This proves difficult when parents from each school come to look around.

Sealskin

Sealskin is an old selkie tale of the sea. Every full moon the Selkies appear, peeling away their seal skin, dancing freely in the moonlight. One night a fisherman discovers their secret, and we see the betrayal and consequences that follow.

Exploring ideas of belonging, otherness and home, Sealskin combines Tmesis’ trademark playful and highly skilled physicality, puppetry, storytelling, incredible projection design and live original music from acoustic duo Me and Deboe.

SENSATION ABBA TRIBUTE BAND

Returning after their huge success last year, the Sensation ABBA Tribute Band return to the Stahl theatre in Oundle.

Widely considered to be one of the best ever Abba Tribute Acts, they play to packed theatres and festivals throughout Europe. A stunning stage show, which combines costume changes, lighting effects and a faithful reproduction of the Abba sound.

A great evening’s entertainment is guaranteed for all age ranges.

The band love audience participation, so you can sing along, clap or even get up and dance.  If however you are ‘too posh’ to join in, then no problem, just rattle your jewellery !!!
